In an Invite Only schedule, the company provides a list of pre-selected candidates to interview. To identify candidates, select from student-submitted cover letters and resumes beginning September 17, 2012 for full-time recruiting and December 3, 2012 for summer internship recruiting. You may also select students from our Resume Databases. Please note: for summer internship recruiting, we require at least 25% of your interview slots be Open for Bid only if your firm has more than one interview schedule per job opportunity (see Open for Bid Schedules, below).
For full-time recruiting, Open for Bid schedules are available only by request.
For summer internship recruiting, we require at least 25% of your interview slots be Open for Bid only if your firm has more than one interview schedule per job opportunity.
In an Open for Bid schedule, interview slots are allocated to students through a computerized point system that guarantees priority to the candidates most interested in your openings. Remaining open slots may be made available, at the company's request, on a first-come first-served basis to any interested students. All students who sign up for an Open for Bid interview schedule must meet the mandatory requirements specified in your job description.
The Career Development Office will e-mail the primary company contact an interview schedule no later than two business days before your interview date.
Each year, almost 1000 jobs — full-time, summer, and part-time — are advertised postings on MIT Sloan's electronic Career Central Job Posting site. If your job posting draws a significant number of qualified candidates, we would be happy to arrange interviews for your firm on campus.
Providing us with well-defined job description is critical to the success of your recruiting efforts (see the Job Description Guidelines).
The annual CDO-sponsored Career Fair provides you with an opportunity to network informally and hold one-on-one interviews with students. Past fairs featured companies from the technology, consulting, healthcare, consumer products and financial services industries. Typically these events draw 15-20 firms and more than 100 students. Our next Career Fair will be held April 11, 2013.
An annual online career fair specifically for those companies looking to hire MBAs for global opportunities.
MIT Sloan students are carefully selected for their leadership potential, academic and professional accomplishments, and team spirit. When they leave MIT Sloan, they become creative managers and outstanding colleagues.
